About Fervent Cathar
Fervent Cathar, Creature — human knight, designed by Steven Belledin first released in May, 2012 in the set Avacyn Restored and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
A red aggro deck would benefit from using Fervent Cathar due to its Haste ability and the ability to make a target creature unable to block, allowing for quick and aggressive attacks. While Fervent Cathar is a solid card for this strategy, there are potentially better options like Goblin Guide or Monastery Swiftspear that offer more consistent damage output. Fervent Cathar could still see play in certain aggressive decks looking for additional disruption options.
Rules
06/08/16
The targeted creature can’t block any creatures this turn. The effect doesn’t merely restrict whether it can block Fervent Cathar.
