About Empyrean Eagle
Empyrean Eagle, Creature — bird spirit, designed by Jason A. Engle first released in Jun, 2019 in the set Core Set 2020 and was printed exactly in 5 different ways.
A deck focused on flying creatures, such as a Blue-White Flying or Azorius Flyers deck, would benefit from including Empyrean Eagle. It provides a strong boost to all other flying creatures you control, making them more powerful and harder to deal with. While there may be other cards that offer similar effects, Empyrean Eagle's low mana cost and immediate impact make it a strong contender for inclusion in such decks. It should definitely see play in decks that rely on flying creatures as a key component of their strategy.
Rules
07/12/19
Because damage remains marked on a creature until it’s removed as the turn ends, nonlethal damage dealt to other creatures you control with flying may become lethal if Empyrean Eagle leaves the battlefield during that turn.
