Wanderwine Farewell fits best in a blue-based Merfolk tribal deck—especially in Commander or casual tribal formats—where you consistently control multiple Merfolk to both convoke the spell and reliably trigger the token-making clause; it plays well in go-wide Azorius (blue-white) Merfolk builds that can tap creatures to help cast it and then rebuild or extend board presence while disrupting opponents by bouncing key nonland permanents (ideally two for maximum value).
