About Torch Song
Torch Song, Enchantment, designed by Thomas M. Baxa first released in Oct, 1998 in the set Urza's Saga.
A red burn deck focused on dealing direct damage to the opponent or their creatures would benefit from using Torch Song, as it provides a repeatable source of damage that scales with the number of verse counters. However, there are better options available in Magic: the Gathering for efficient burn spells, such as Lightning Bolt or Chain Lightning, which offer immediate impact without the need for setup.
