This card, Simoon, would be beneficial in a red-green aggro deck looking to maintain board control by dealing damage to multiple creatures at once. However, there are better options available such as Anger of the Gods which not only deals damage to creatures but also exiles them, providing more permanent removal. Simoon could see play in specific metas where dealing 1 damage to each creature is particularly effective, but overall, it may not be a top choice compared to more versatile removal spells.
