About Rhox Pummeler
Rhox Pummeler, Creature — rhino soldier, designed by Gabor Szikszai first released in Apr, 2022 in the set Streets of New Capenna.
Rhox Pummeler would be a great addition to a midrange or control deck that focuses on stalling the game and protecting its creatures. Its ability to have trample as long as it has a shield counter on it makes it a formidable threat on the battlefield. However, there are better options out there such as Thragtusk, which provides immediate value with its enters-the-battlefield ability and is harder to deal with due to its higher toughness. Overall, while Rhox Pummeler has its strengths, there are more efficient options available that would likely see more play in competitive Magic: the Gathering decks.
