About Rancid Rats
Rancid Rats, Creature — zombie rat, designed by Daniel Ljunggren first released in Apr, 2016 in the set Shadows over Innistrad.
This Rancid Rats card would be a great addition to a black-based aggro deck in Magic: the Gathering. Its combination of Skulk and Deathtouch makes it a potent threat that can sneak past larger blockers and take them out with its deathtouch ability. While Rancid Rats is a solid card for its cost, there are potentially better options like Typhoid Rats, which also has deathtouch but comes with an additional point of toughness. However, Rancid Rats could still see play in decks looking for a low-cost, evasive threat with deathtouch capabilities.

Skulk matters only as blockers are chosen. Modifying either creature’s power after blockers are chosen won’t cause the attacking creature to become unblocked.
