This card, Overgrown Battlement, would be beneficial in a Defender-themed deck that focuses on having multiple creatures with defender to ramp up mana quickly. However, in a competitive setting, there are better options like Axebane Guardian, which can generate more mana efficiently. Overgrown Battlement could still see play in casual or themed decks where its ability synergizes well with the overall strategy.
