This card would benefit a red-white aggressive deck looking to utilize the trample ability and the ability to turn permanents into constructs for added power. While Optimus Prime, Inspiring Leader is a unique and flavorful card, there may be better options in terms of efficiency and power level for competitive play, such as Aurelia, the Warleader, which provides a more immediate impact on the board. However, for casual or themed decks, Optimus Prime could definitely see play for its fun and creative design.
