About Nekrataal
Nekrataal, Creature — human assassin, designed by Adrian Smith first released in May, 2020 in the set Visions and was printed exactly in 15 different ways.
Nekrataal is a valuable addition to a black-based control or midrange deck in Magic: the Gathering, offering removal and a solid body with first strike. While Nekrataal is a strong card, some may argue that newer cards like Ravenous Chupacabra or Shriekmaw provide more versatile removal options. However, Nekrataal can still see play in certain metagames or formats where its specific abilities are particularly useful.
Rules
06/08/16
Nothing happens if there are no nonartifact, nonblack creatures on the battlefield when Nekrataal enters the battlefield, but if there is one, you must target it, even if it’s a creature you control.
