Necromancer's Covenant, Enchantment, designed by Thomas M. Baxa first released in Apr, 2009 in the set Alara Reborn and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
A deck focused on graveyard recursion and token generation, such as a black-white Zombie tribal deck or a reanimator strategy, would benefit from including Necromancer's Covenant. While the card provides a strong value by creating multiple lifelink Zombies and gaining life, there are potentially better options like Liliana, Dreadhorde General or Grave Titan that offer more immediate impact or versatility. Necromancer's Covenant could see play in more casual or thematic decks, but competitive decks may opt for more powerful options.
