Maulfist Squad, Creature — human artificer, designed by Matt Stewart first released in Sep, 2016 in the set Kaladesh and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.
A deck that focuses on aggressive strategies and generating multiple small creatures would benefit from including Maulfist Squad. Its Menace ability makes it difficult for opponents to block effectively, and the Fabricate ability allows for flexibility in either growing the Squad or creating additional tokens. While there may be more powerful cards available, Maulfist Squad can be a solid inclusion in decks looking to apply early pressure and maintain a board presence.

If you can’t put +1/+1 counters on the creature for any reason as fabricate resolves (for instance, if it’s no longer on the battlefield), you just create Servo tokens.

You choose whether to put +1/+1 counters on the creature or create Servo tokens as the fabricate ability is resolving. No player may take actions between the time you choose and the time that counters are added or tokens are created.
