This card would benefit a deck that focuses on ramping up mana quickly or fixing mana base, such as a green-based ramp deck or a multicolor deck with specific land requirements. While Journeyer's Kite can be useful in certain situations, there are better cards like Sakura-Tribe Elder or Rampant Growth that provide immediate mana ramp without the need to wait for activation.
