A deck focusing on equipment synergies, such as an Equipment Voltron deck in Commander format, would greatly benefit from including Goblin Gaveleer as it can become a powerful threat with trample and boosted stats when equipped. However, there are stronger options like Stonehewer Giant or Puresteel Paladin that offer more utility and flexibility in such decks. Considering the relatively low power level of Goblin Gaveleer in comparison to better-equipped alternatives, it may not see much competitive play beyond casual settings.
