About Giant's Skewer
Giant's Skewer, Artifact — equipment, designed by James Paick first released in Sep, 2019 in the set Throne of Eldraine.
This card would benefit a deck that focuses on aggressive strategies and creature combat, particularly in a black-based deck that can take advantage of the additional life gain from the Food tokens. While Giant's Skewer can be useful in certain situations, there are better options available such as Bonesplitter or Sword of Fire and Ice that offer more versatile and powerful effects, making it unlikely that Giant's Skewer would see significant play in competitive Magic: The Gathering decks.
