About Frost Titan
Frost Titan, Creature — giant, designed by Mike Bierek first released in Jul, 2010 in the set Magic 2011 and was printed exactly in 8 different ways.
A control deck that aims to disrupt the opponent's strategy and slow down their board development would benefit from including Frost Titan in its lineup. While Frost Titan's ability to tap down permanents and counter spells can be impactful, there are arguably better options available in the current Magic: The Gathering card pool, such as Torrential Gearhulk or Consecrated Sphinx, which offer more immediate value or card advantage. Overall, Frost Titan could see play in certain metagames or strategies, but it may not always be the optimal choice compared to other options.
Rules
08/15/10
Frost Titan’s first ability affects each spell (including Aura spells), activated ability, and triggered ability that’s controlled by an opponent and that Frost Titan becomes a target of.
08/15/10
If the permanent affected by Frost Titan’s second ability is untapped at the time that permanent’s controller’s next untap step begins, the last part of Frost Titan’s second ability has no effect.
