About Dwarven Priest
Dwarven Priest, Creature — dwarf cleric, designed by Even Amundsen first released in Jul, 2018 in the set Core Set 2019.
The Dwarven Priest card would be beneficial in a white weenie or token-based deck that focuses on having multiple creatures on the battlefield to maximize the life gain effect. However, there are better cards like Soul Warden or Soul's Attendant that provide consistent life gain without requiring additional creatures. While Dwarven Priest could see play in casual or themed decks, it may not be competitive enough for more optimized strategies in Magic: the Gathering.
Rules
07/13/18
The number of creatures you control is counted only as Dwarven Priest’s ability resolves. If Dwarven Priest is still on the battlefield, it will count itself.
