“Dominus Spark” would mainly benefit control or stun-style decks that (1) don’t rely on EARTH, WATER, FIRE, or WIND monster effects—so primarily DARK- or LIGHT-focused strategies—and (2) don’t care about activating many Traps beforehand, such as certain DARK control variants, Runick hybrids that can afford the Trap count consideration, or niche anti-meta builds that value hand-activated interaction going second. Its strongest feature is functioning as a hand trap–like banish removal when the opponent uses a monster effect in hand or GY, which is strong against decks like Branded, Tearlaments-style GY strategies, or hand-effect engines; however, the permanent Attribute lock is an extremely harsh drawback in most modern decks, and giving the opponent a potential Special Summon if you have no Traps in GY can negate the tempo gain.
