About Deadwood Treefolk
Deadwood Treefolk, Creature — treefolk, designed by Don Hazeltine first released in May, 2020 in the set Planar Chaos and was printed exactly in 5 different ways.
Deadwood Treefolk would be a valuable addition to a green-based graveyard recursion deck in Magic: the Gathering, as it provides both a solid body and the ability to bring back another creature from the graveyard upon entering or leaving the battlefield. While it offers value with its recursion ability, the Vanishing mechanic may limit its impact in longer games. Other cards like Eternal Witness or Regrowth may offer more consistent graveyard recursion without the downside of sacrificing the creature, making them potentially better options for decks focused on graveyard synergies.
