About Aura Gnarlid
Aura Gnarlid, Creature — beast, designed by Lars Grant-West first released in Apr, 2010 in the set Rise of the Eldrazi and was printed exactly in 6 different ways.
This card would be a great addition to an Aura-based deck in Magic: the Gathering, as it can become quite powerful with multiple Auras on the battlefield and make it difficult for smaller creatures to block it. However, there are potentially better cards for similar strategies, such as Kor Spiritdancer or Gladecover Scout, which offer more consistent benefits in Aura decks. Overall, Aura Gnarlid could see play in a specific build focused on Auras and power-based strategies, but there are stronger options available for more competitive play.
Rules
06/15/10
The power of each potential blocking creature is checked against Aura Gnarlid’s power only as blockers are declared. Once a creature blocks Aura Gnarlid, increasing the Gnarlid’s power or decreasing the blocking creature’s power won’t undo that block.
