About Wing Snare

Wing Snare, Sorcery, designed by Henry Van Der Linde first released in May, 2020 in the set Urza's Legacy and was printed exactly in 6 different ways.

Wing Snare would be particularly beneficial in a green-based control or midrange deck that aims to manage the battlefield by removing threats, especially those with flying, which can often evade ground-based creatures. While it is effective against flyers, there are arguably better options such as Nature's Claim or Reclamation Sage, which provide additional utility or card advantage. However, if the meta is heavily populated with flying creatures, Wing Snare could still see play as a targeted removal spell, especially in a deck that can consistently generate green mana.
