Transmogrifying Wand, Artifact, designed by Aaron Miller first released in Jul, 2018 in the set Core Set 2019 Promos and was printed exactly in 4 different ways. It see play in 1 formats: Commander.
Transmogrifying Wand would fit well in a control or midrange deck that seeks to manage the board by removing threats while generating value through creature tokens. Its ability to destroy a creature and replace it with a token can be particularly useful in decks that benefit from having more creatures on the battlefield or that can exploit the token's presence. However, there are arguably better options for creature removal, such as Fatal Push or Path to Exile, which are more efficient and versatile in terms of mana cost and instant speed. While Transmogrifying Wand can see play in specific strategies that capitalize on its unique effect, it may not be the optimal choice compared to these more powerful removal spells.

If the target creature is an illegal target by the time Transmogrifying Wand’s ability tries to resolve, the ability doesn’t resolve. No player creates an Ox token.
