Quash, Instant, designed by Don Hazeltine first released in Jun, 1999 in the set Urza's Destiny and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
Quash would be a valuable addition to control decks in Magic: the Gathering, as it provides a powerful way to disrupt an opponent's game plan by countering key instant or sorcery spells and removing all copies of that spell from their deck. While Quash is a unique and potentially game-changing card, there are other options like Counterspell or Force of Will that may be more versatile and efficient in certain situations. However, Quash could still see play in specific metagames or decks looking to target specific combo or spell-heavy strategies.

Quash can exile cards even if the spell countered was a copy of a spell. For example, if you Quash a Boomerang cast from an Isochron Scepter, you may search for and exile cards named Boomerang.

The copies must be found if they are in publicly viewable zones. Finding copies while searching private zones is optional.
