About Purelace

Purelace, Instant, designed by Sandra Everingham first released in Aug, 1993 in the set Limited Edition Alpha and was printed exactly in 12 different ways.

Purelace could be beneficial in a deck that focuses on color manipulation or protection strategies, such as a mono-white control deck or a deck that aims to counter specific colored spells. However, there are better options available, such as Rebuff the Wicked, which not only changes the color of a spell but also counters it, making it a more versatile and powerful choice. Purelace may not see much play in competitive Magic: The Gathering decks due to its limited utility compared to other available options.
