About Mutant's Prey
Mutant's Prey, Instant, designed by Ryan Barger first released in May, 2013 in the set Dragon's Maze.
Mutant's Prey would be beneficial in a deck that focuses on +1/+1 counters and creature combat, such as a Green Stompy or a Simic Counters deck in Magic: the Gathering. While it provides a targeted removal option and can potentially take out a threatening creature from the opponent, there are more efficient removal spells like Prey Upon or Hunt the Weak that might be better choices due to their lower mana cost and flexibility.
