About Lone Wolf

Lone Wolf, Creature — wolf, designed by Michael Weaver first released in May, 2020 in the set Portal Second Age and was printed exactly in 7 different ways.

The Lone Wolf card would be beneficial in a deck that focuses on aggressive gameplay and wants to bypass enemy blockers to deal direct damage. However, there are better options like Leatherback Baloth or Strangleroot Geist that offer more power or resilience. Lone Wolf may not see much play in competitive decks due to its limited impact compared to other available options.

Rules

04/27/18

If blocked by a creature with banding, the defending player decides whether or not the damage is assigned “as though it weren’t blocked”.

04/27/18

You can decide to assign damage to the defending player or planeswalker even if the blocking creature has protection from green or damage preventing effects on it.
