About Killing Glare
Killing Glare, Instant, designed by Peter Mohrbacher first released in Feb, 2013 in the set Gatecrash and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
A deck focused on controlling the board and removing threats, such as a control or midrange deck, would benefit from using Killing Glare as it provides a cost-effective way to deal with creatures of varying power levels. The power of the target creature is checked both as you target it and as Killing Glare resolves. If its power is greater than the value chosen for X when Killing Glare tries to resolve, it won’t resolve and none of its effects will happen.
