This Gideon, Ally of Zendikar Emblem would greatly benefit a white weenie or aggro deck that focuses on flooding the board with small creatures. While the +1/+1 bonus is significant, there are other cards like Honor of the Pure or Glorious Anthem that provide similar effects for a lower cost, making them potentially better options depending on the deck's strategy. However, if the deck is looking for a repeatable anthem effect that can't be easily removed, then Gideon's emblem could certainly see play in the right build.
