About Fortifying Provisions

Fortifying Provisions, Enchantment, designed by Scott Murphy first released in Sep, 2019 in the set Throne of Eldraine and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.

Fortifying Provisions would fit well in a White Weenie or a token-based deck, providing a small boost to your creatures and generating a Food token for additional value. However, there are better options like Honor of the Pure or Glorious Anthem that offer more significant buffs for a similar cost, making Fortifying Provisions less likely to see play in competitive decks unless specifically tailored to take advantage of the Food token mechanic.

Rules

10/04/19

Food is an artifact type. Even though it appears on some creatures (such as Gingerbrute), it’s never a creature type.

Whatever you do, don’t eat the delicious cards.
