About Undying Rage
Undying Rage, Enchantment — aura, designed by Scott M. Fischer first released in Oct, 2006 in the set Time Spiral and was printed exactly in 8 different ways.
Undying Rage would be beneficial in an aggressive red deck looking to pump up a creature's power and attack quickly, sacrificing the ability to block for increased damage potential. While it offers a recurring effect upon being put into the graveyard, there are likely better options available such as Rancor, which provides a similar power boost with trample and returns to hand upon the enchanted creature's death, making it a more versatile choice for aggressive strategies. Undying Rage may see situational play in specific decks seeking its unique benefits, but overall, there are stronger enchantment options available in Magic: The Gathering.
Rules
11/10/20
If the target creature is an illegal target by the time Undying Rage tries to resolve, it doesn’t resolve. It’s put into its owner’s graveyard from the stack rather than from the battlefield, so its last ability won’t trigger.
