About Siren's Ruse
Siren's Ruse, Instant, designed by Ben Maier first released in Sep, 2017 in the set Ixalan. It's a key card in 4 combos.
Siren's Ruse would be beneficial in a deck that focuses on creatures with powerful enter-the-battlefield abilities, such as Pirates or creatures with valuable triggered abilities. While it provides a way to protect a creature from removal spells or combat damage, the additional benefit of drawing a card if a Pirate is targeted adds extra value. However, for more competitive play, cards like Cloudshift or Eldrazi Displacer may offer more versatility or consistency in similar strategies, so Siren's Ruse may not see widespread play in highly optimized decks.

If a token is exiled this way, it will cease to exist and won’t return to the battlefield.

Once the exiled creature returns, it’s considered a new object with no relation to the object that it was. Auras attached to the exiled creature will be put into their owners’ graveyards. Equipment attached to the exiled creature will become unattached and remain on the battlefield. Any counters on the exiled creature will cease to exist.
