This card would be beneficial in a deck focused on infect mechanics, aiming to quickly poison the opponent and take advantage of the synergy with other infect creatures and spells. While Septic Rats can be a solid addition to such a deck, there are potentially better options like Plague Stinger or Glistener Elf, which offer more immediate impact and evasion.
