A deck that focuses on casting a high number of noncreature spells and has access to strong mana ramp would benefit from including Sahagin in its strategy. While Sahagin's ability to become unblockable and grow in power can be impactful in the right deck, similar cards like Delver of Secrets offer more consistent and powerful effects in most cases, making Sahagin less likely to see play in competitive Magic: the Gathering decks.
