About Paralyze
Paralyze, Enchantment — aura, designed by Anson Maddocks first released in Aug, 1993 in the set Limited Edition Alpha and was printed exactly in 15 different ways.
Paralyze is best suited for a control deck that aims to lock down opponent's creatures and disrupt their game plan. While it can be effective in slowing down an opponent's board development, there are more efficient options available such as cards like Pacifism or Arrest that offer similar effects without the upkeep cost. Paralyze may not see much play in competitive environments due to its limitations compared to other options.
Rules
09/16/07
This is a change from the most recent wording. As was the case in the past, Paralyze itself has the last triggered ability, rather than granting that ability to the enchanted creature.
10/04/04
Paying the cost is optional.
10/04/04
The creature can only be untapped using Paralyze once per turn.
