About Notion Rain
Notion Rain, Sorcery, designed by Lius Lasahido first released in Oct, 2018 in the set Guilds of Ravnica and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
A control or midrange deck that values card selection and graveyard interaction would benefit from using Notion Rain in Magic: the Gathering. While Notion Rain provides card advantage and selection, the downside of dealing 2 damage to the player may not be ideal for aggressive decks. Better alternatives like Chemister's Insight offer similar card draw without the life loss, but Notion Rain could still see play in decks looking for specific card selection and graveyard manipulation.

When you surveil, you may put all the cards you look at back on top of your library, you may put all of those cards into your graveyard, or you may put some of those cards on top and the rest of them into your graveyard.
