About Lurking Informant

Lurking Informant, Creature — human rogue, designed by Ron Spears first released in Oct, 2005 in the set Ravnica: City of Guilds.

A deck that focuses on mill strategies or disrupting the opponent's library would benefit from including Lurking Informant in their lineup, as it provides a consistent way to look at and potentially mill cards from the top of the opponent's library. However, there are potentially better cards for this purpose, such as Hedron Crab or Glimpse the Unthinkable, which offer more efficient and powerful mill effects. Lurking Informant may not see widespread play in competitive Magic: the Gathering decks due to its relatively high cost and limited impact compared to other mill cards available.
