This card would be beneficial in a control deck that focuses on card advantage and manipulating the opponent's hand size. However, there are better options available such as Snapcaster Mage or Jace, the Mind Sculptor which provide more versatile and powerful abilities. Keeper of the Mind may struggle to see play in competitive Magic: the Gathering decks due to its specific conditions and limited impact compared to other cards.
