About Highland Forest
Highland Forest, Snow land — mountain forest, designed by Alayna Danner first released in Jan, 2021 in the set Kaldheim and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It see play in 1 formats: Pauper.
This Highland Forest card would be beneficial in a deck that focuses on red and green mana sources, such as a Gruul deck in Magic: the Gathering. While it provides both red and green mana, the drawback of entering the battlefield tapped may slow down the deck's tempo. There are better dual lands available, such as Stomping Ground, which enters untapped if you pay 2 life, making it a more efficient choice for competitive play. However, for casual or budget decks, Highland Forest could still see play as a budget-friendly option for mana fixing.
Rules
02/05/21
Snow is a supertype, not a card type. It has no rules meaning or function by itself, but spells and abilities may refer to it.
02/05/21
Snow isn’t a type of mana. If an effect says you may spend mana as though it were any type, you can’t pay for using mana that wasn’t produced by a snow source.

The Kaldheim set doesn’t have any cards with mana costs that include , but some previous sets do. If an effect says such a spell costs less to cast, that reduction doesn’t apply to any costs. This is also true for activated abilities that include in their activation costs and effects that reduce those costs.
