About Glaring Aegis
Glaring Aegis, Enchantment — aura, designed by Anthony Palumbo first released in Mar, 2015 in the set Dragons of Tarkir and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.
This card, Glaring Aegis, would be beneficial in a White Weenie or aggressive White deck looking to control the board by tapping down an opponent's creature upon entering the battlefield while also providing a boost to the enchanted creature's toughness. However, there are potentially better options such as Gryff's Boon, which provides flying in addition to a power boost, or Cartouche of Solidarity, which creates a token and provides a power boost. Whether Glaring Aegis should see play would depend on the specific strategy and synergy within the deck, as well as the overall metagame.

If the target creature is an illegal target by the time Glaring Aegis tries to resolve, the spell doesn’t resolve. It won’t enter the battlefield, so its ability won’t trigger.
