This card, Dross Prowler, would be beneficial in a black aggro deck looking to apply pressure early in the game. Its Fear ability makes it difficult to block, allowing for consistent damage to be dealt to the opponent. However, there are better options available such as Vampire Nighthawk, which also has flying and lifelink, providing additional utility. Dross Prowler could see play in specific budget decks or limited formats where options are limited, but in most cases, there are stronger alternatives to consider.
