A deck that focuses on disruption and control would benefit from including Doomsday Specter, as it provides a way to bounce and replay key blue or black creatures while also disrupting the opponent's hand. However, there are more efficient cards with similar effects such as Vendilion Clique, which offers immediate hand disruption without the need for combat damage, making it a stronger choice in most scenarios. While Doomsday Specter has its niche uses, it may not see widespread play due to its higher mana cost and conditional triggers.
