About Deadeye Plunderers
Deadeye Plunderers, Creature — human pirate, designed by Greg Opalinski first released in May, 2020 in the set Ixalan.
Deadeye Plunderers would be a strong addition to an artifact-focused deck in Magic: the Gathering, particularly one that aims to generate multiple artifacts to boost its power and create Treasure tokens for mana ramp. However, there are potentially better options such as Master of Etherium or Steel Overseer that offer more consistent and powerful effects for artifact-based strategies. Deadeye Plunderers could still see play in more casual or themed decks where its pirate theme and ability to scale with artifacts can shine.
Rules
09/29/17
Because damage remains marked on a creature until it’s removed as the turn ends, the damage Deadeye Plunderers takes during combat may become lethal if artifacts you control leave the battlefield later in the turn.
