About Dauthi Slayer
Dauthi Slayer, Creature — dauthi soldier, designed by Dermot Power first released in Oct, 1997 in the set Tempest and was printed exactly in 5 different ways.
This Dauthi Slayer card would be beneficial in a deck focused on aggressive strategies, particularly in a black-based deck that aims to quickly apply pressure on the opponent. Its ability to attack each combat if able, combined with the shadow ability, makes it difficult for opponents to block effectively. However, there are better cards available for similar aggressive strategies, such as Carnophage or Sarcomancy, which offer more power or utility for the same cost. Dauthi Slayer could see play in a budget deck or as a filler card, but may not be a top choice in competitive play.
Rules
03/19/21
Multiple instances of shadow on the same creature are redundant.
03/19/21
Once a creature has been blocked, that creature remains blocked and will deal and be dealt combat damage even if it gains or loses shadow or if the blocking creature gains or loses shadow.
