About Bot Bashing Time
Bot Bashing Time, Sorcery, designed by Xavier Ribeiro first released in Feb, 2026 in the set Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Bot Bashing Time would fit best in a red midrange or control-leaning deck that wants efficient creature removal with exile upside, particularly in a metagame full of graveyard recursion, death triggers, or indestructible threats that need to be removed cleanly. However, at four mana for 6 damage, it’s likely too inefficient for competitive Constructed play, as red already has stronger and/or cheaper options: **Lightning Bolt** (1 mana, 3 damage) and **Play with Fire** or **Lightning Strike** are far more efficient at lower curves, **Abrade** offers flexibility, **Flame-Blessed Bolt** exiles for just 1 mana (though only 2 damage), and **Rending Flame** or **Obliterating Bolt** provide exile at a comparable or better rate depending on format. Even **Roast** (2 mana for 5 damage to a nonflying creature) is often more mana-efficient. As such, Bot Bashing Time would likely be outclassed in most competitive formats unless the environment heavily rewards exactly 6 damage plus exile at instant
