Borrowed Knowledge (2RW) is a high-variance “wheel-style” effect that would fit best in aggressive or midrange Boros decks that empty their hands quickly, as well as Commander decks that can exploit discard synergies (e.g., madness, graveyard recursion, or “whenever you discard” triggers), since the first mode can refill from a low hand against a control player and the second guarantees at least parity; however, at four mana and only sorcery-speed hand cycling, it is generally weaker than more efficient or higher-impact alternatives like **Reforge the Soul**, **Wheel of Misfortune**, or especially **Wheel of Fortune** in eternal formats, and even red’s newer impulse-draw engines (e.g., **Reckless Impulse**, **Jeska’s Will**) often generate more consistent advantage without giving opponents resources, so while it could be a niche role-player in Commander builds that specifically want discard triggers in Boros, it is unlikely to see competitive Constructed play and would be considered be
