A control deck that focuses on maintaining a board advantage while disrupting the opponent's strategy would benefit from using Tragic Arrogance. This card allows the player to selectively remove threats from the battlefield while keeping their own key permanents intact, creating a favorable board state. While there may be other board wipe cards like Wrath of God or Supreme Verdict that offer more straightforward mass removal, Tragic Arrogance's selective nature can be more advantageous in certain situations, making it a viable option for inclusion in the right deck.
