The Rakdos Guildgate would benefit a deck that focuses on black and red mana sources, such as a Rakdos-themed deck in Magic: the Gathering. While the guildgate provides flexibility in mana production, there are better options available like Blood Crypt, which enters untapped and can be fetched with various cards. However, the Rakdos Guildgate could still see play in budget or casual decks where the cost of acquiring more optimal lands is a limiting factor.
