A deck focused on aggressive strategies that involve a lot of creature combat would benefit from using Plague Wight, as it can weaken multiple blockers at once, making it easier for your other creatures to get through for damage. However, there are better cards that offer similar effects, such as Plague Belcher or Plague Engineer, which provide more impactful abilities or stats for their cost. While Plague Wight can be situationally useful, it may not see much play in competitive decks due to the availability of stronger options.

If Plague Wight leaves the battlefield while its triggered ability is on the stack, the creatures that were blocking it before it left the battlefield get -1/-1.
