A deck focused on enchantments and creature buffing would benefit from including Pious Wayfarer, especially in a white-based aggro or enchantment-themed deck. While Pious Wayfarer offers a consistent buff with its Constellation ability, there are potentially better options like Sram, Senior Edificer or Kor Spiritdancer for similar effects in more competitive decks. However, for a casual or thematic deck, Pious Wayfarer could see play as a fun and flavorful addition.

An Aura spell that has an illegal target when it tries to resolve doesn’t resolve and is instead put into its owner’s graveyard. It doesn’t enter the battlefield, so constellation abilities don’t trigger.
