Pelt Collector would be a valuable addition to a green stompy or aggro deck in Magic: the Gathering, benefiting from the frequent presence of creatures with higher power that can trigger its ability and quickly grow it into a trampling threat. While there are other powerful green two-drops like Experiment One and Avatar of the Resolute, Pelt Collector's potential for rapid growth and trample make it a strong contender for inclusion in decks aiming for early board presence and aggression.

If a creature with power less than or equal to Pelt Collector’s power enters the battlefield or dies, Pelt Collector’s first ability doesn’t trigger at all. You can’t try to raise that creature’s power or lower Pelt Collector’s to get a counter.
